Standing-wave coaxial tube method (SWCTM) is useful to measure PIM because of non-contact measurement. In this paper, we propose a calibration method for frequency characteristics in SWCTM and a measurement results of electrical contacts are presented. Since the frequency dependence of the coupling between the device under the test (DUT) and the coaxial tube is compensated with the reflection characteristics measurement, unique calibrated PIM of a DUT is obtained. Through those examination, basic mechanism of the proposed method is also explained. In this paper, the inner contacts of a coaxial connector such as SMA and MMCX are usedas DUT.
