For a functional examination of the autonomic nervous system, it is necessary to use drugs, which either stimulate or depress it. Although adrenergics, cholinergics, and anticholinergics have been used for over 40 years for this purpose, antiadrenergics to date were not employed. The auther used Regitin as the antiadrenergics, and was able to analysed the responses of humancases more acutely and precisely with these four quarters drugs. The Functional disorders of the autonomic nervous system were observed as multiple formes on several organs. Therfore this symptom may be recorded as a central blood pressure reflex but simple observation of the blood pressure changes induced by adrenergics and cholinergics are not sufficient. A plan of therapy for autonomic disorders could be established through these pharmacological examinations using the four quarters drugs. Furthermore responses by the antiadrenergics anticholinergics could serve as a good reference.
