Since the third "venture-business boom" in the mid-1990's, there have been attempts to put economic activations in the perspectives and to strengthen the industrial competitiveness of our country. From FY 2002, the "1000 University-Based Venture Companies Incubation Plan" has been actively promoted to incubate and commercialize the fruits of research activities among universities. Although it might be difficult for a research to be completed with the world-standard, incubation plan itself may attain the numerical target. However, it would be difficult to reach the target with an "aim to be IPO within five to seven years," because those who establish the venture companies do not have the expertise in management practices. Moreover, the education efforts in venture management, such as the entrepreneur training courses, are offered at many universities in Japan according to this plan. However, majority of contents of these educational courses are lectures on "studies" and/or "theories" conducted by research faculties, enlightened lectures of omnibus method that are conducted by invited consultants and/or top managers of venture company and business plan making, which may proved to be not very practical. Therefore, this study proposes the promotion of practical educational courses for venture management by implementing the "Internship" among venture companies and some of actual cases are introduced.
