咬傷後の慢性損傷に対する修復術後に発生した犬の腸皮膚瘻の1例(外科学)

6歳齢の犬でマルチーズ種の去勢雄,体重4.8kgが,咬傷に対する修復手術後から12ヵ月間傷が治癒せず,左腹壁尾側から膿性の分泌液が続くとのことで来院した.この犬は,来院前に4回の手術を受けており,8ヵ月間抗生物質投与が続けられていた.X線検査および超音波検査により,この症例では皮下に腸管が脱出し,腸皮膚瘻となっていることが明らかとなった.瘻管と脱出した腸管を外科的に切除することにより,問題は解決した.
