Today's society has needed and will continue to need student's presentation skill. However, research on the presentation skills in the field of English language education has not been very popular. So it was very hard to decide the appropriate evaluation items. The last five years, Kobe City College of Technology (KCCT) has held a "presentation contest" every year. Before the "presentation contest", KCCT had held speech contests for more than twenty years. We have added one evaluation item "the slide or visual aid" to the three evaluation items "English, Attractiveness, Manners," which were the items to be judged at the speech contest and we evaluated each presentation using these items. However, speeches and presentations are completely different activities, so the purpose of this study is to consider the appropriate evaluation items of a student's presentation.
