The blood sugar content was investigated in rabbits which had abnormal testicular function as before, but this time, the rabbits were fed with 2 gramme Lanolin daily in their ordinary food. Experimental Results. 1) After injection of Adrenalin, hyperglycaemia was very marked in the testicular hypofunctioning rabbits, but it was not considerable in the hyperfunctioning rabbits. 2) After injection of Morphin, hyperglycaemia was marked in the hyperfunctioning rabbits' testicle and there was a tendency to decrease in the hypofunctioning rabbits' testicle compared with the controls. 3) After injection of Insulin, hypoglycaemia was similar in both animals compared with the controls. 4) Hyperglycaemia induced by intravenous injection of Glucose was lower in the hyperfunctioning rabbits, but there was no considerable change in the hypofunctioning rabbits' testicle. The amount of liver glycogen was investigated after injection of Strychnine nitrate sol. in the abnormal gonatic rabbits in the same way as before. Experimental Results. 1) The amount of liver glycogen during hunger was increased in the hypo-gonatic rabbits and was decreased in the hyper-gonatic rabbits. 2) Liver glycogen, after injection of Strychnine was found to be definitely present though in a slight amount in the hypo-gonatic rabbits. But it had entirely disappeared in the hyper-gonatic rabbits. 3) The decrease of the body weight and of the blood sugar after Strychnine injection was found to be greater in the hyper-gonatic rabbits than in the hypo-gonatic rabbits. Conclusion. by T. Mitsusawa and Y. Ito. In this paper we drew the conclusion from the experimental results as a whole. Conclusion. 1) The blood sugar of rabbits with abnormal testicular function did not show any considerable changes whether it was estimated fasting or on different days or at different times of day. 2) Hyperglycaemia after Adrenalin injection was rather strongly marked in those animals with testicular hypo-function. but on the other hand, it was less time of diminished glycogen in the liver and also at the time when fed with fat added to their ration. 3) Hyperglycaemia after Morphin injection was noted very little in rabbits with hypo-functioning testicular hormone, on the other hand, it appeared to be high in those animals with accelerated function. This phenomenon was similarly observed at the time of diminished liver glycogen and also at the time when fat was added to their ration. 4) Insulin hypoglycaemia showed a general tendency to be less marked in rabbits with testicular hypo-function than in animals with hyper function where it was much higher. This was similarly noted in the animals whose liver glycogen diminished and also at the time when they were given fatty ration. 5) Hyperglycaemia induced after intravenous injection of Glucose showed no remarkable change in hypo-gonatic rabbits at the time of normal liver glycogen preservation, but this was found to be increased at the time of diminished liver glycogen and there was no change observable when fat was added to their ration. In hyper-gonatic rabbits there was seen some increase when normal liver glycogen was present and a remarkable increase when their liver glycogen was diminished and there was no change observable when fat was added to their ration. 6) The amount of liver glycogen during hunger was increased in hypo-gonatic rabbits and was to be diminished at a hyper-gonatic ration. 7) The amount of liver glycogen after Strychnine injection was found to be definitely present, though slight in amount, in rabbits of hypo-gonatic function. But this had entirely disappeared in animals of gonatic hyper-function. 8) The amount of decrease of body weight and blood sugar after an injection of Strychnine was found to be rather small in animals of hypo-gonatic function, whilst it was considerable in rabbits with increased testicular endocrinal function.
