In this paper, we present the optimum extended interpolatory approximation of signals that is time-limited in wide interval in the time-domain and is band-limited approximately in the frequency domain. Firstly, we provide a method of obtaining optimum interpolation functions for a certain measure of absolute error. Based on this method, we present interesting design of FIR type filter bank and transmultiplexer. In this discussion, we establish the optimum FIR filter bank and FIR transmultiplexer minimizing various measure of transmission error of each channel independently and/or simultaneously. Secondly, using this system, we present useful multicast emergency systems based on FPGA that realize the optimum transmission filters in broadband side promptly when receiving filters change by serious accidental event. Finally, from the implementation examples, the effectiveness of the presented technique is given.
