Computer-generated hologram (CGH) is used for the information of Watermarking. For the characteristics of CGH, the reconstructed image from CGH has noises on the expected images. In recognizing the reconstructed image mechanically, the noise can be obstacle. In this paper, as a method of recognition for the reconstructed image from CGH, Correlation function is used. The effectiveness of the Correlation function on the reconstructed image from CGH was tested. CGH made with GA and without Error Diffusion were used as an object of the recognition mainly. On the assumption that signature information is embedded, this study examined mainly on combinations of the Alphabets. Using Phase-Only Correlation (POC) and Preprocessing improved the recognition rate.
