• The members of the volunteer club at Shinshu Junior College have been engaged in various volunteer activities. This report shows the main activities done by the club-members since its start in 2002. Their activities have been well received by persons concerned and given high evaluation so far. But there are several difficult conditions for the students to continue and develop their work ; such as how to manage time for activities, to secure transportation or to bear expenses for the work. From the viewpoint of supporting social activities by college students, it is most desirable that all the teachers of Shinshu Junior College consider the importance of voluntary work in college education and try to encourage and support the voluntary activities of the students at large.
