小児看護学実習における幼稚園・保育園実習の有効性の検討 : 幼稚園・保育園実習前後の子ども観の比較から

The number of nursing students, which hesitate about relationship with children, is on the increase under the present situation such as declining fertility and increasing nuclear family. In the department of nursing of Ashikaga junior college, a practice in kindergartens and a nursery school was started as one of the practices in the pediatric nursing last year. In this paper, the student's reports for their view on children, before and after the practices, are analyzed, and the effectiveness of the practice is evaluated. The results are as follows. 1) In the report before the practice, the ratio of [A : positive image] for views on children is the largest. However the ratio of the sum of [B : negative image] and [H : hesitation about children] accounts for 0.4. 2) In the report after the practice, the ratios of [A : positive image], [E : image of growth] and [G : image of care] grow around two times as large as those before the practice. On the contrary, the ratio of [B : negative image] indicates remarkable decrease. And also, the contents in the categories became more concrete based on their experiences. The above-mentioned results show that the practice in a kindergarten and a nursery school acts effectively on making and expanding views on children for nursing students.
