We demonstrate a magneto-optic two-dimensional array consisting of microstructure cells of a micrometer size. The array was fabricated by the method of selected area sputter epitaxy of a cerium-substituted yttrium iron garnet film. A light diffraction of the array was measured to examine the collective appearance of the magneto-optic grid structure. A magneto-optic two-dimensional periodic pattern, as well as crystalline grid formation, was confirmed.
