Dynamical Spin Susceptibilities in the Superconducting Phase of Sr_2RuO_4(Condensed matter: electronic structure and electrical, magnetic, and optical properties)

Dynamical spin susceptibilities in the chiral p-wave superconducting state, the most probable pairing state in Sr_2RuO_4, are calculated taking proper account of contributions from collective excitations. It is found that a spin wave mode appears in dynamical transverse susceptibility. The spin wave mode is gapped by spin-orbit interaction, but its frequency in the long wavelength limit can remain at the order of gap frequency when the anisotropy caused by spin-orbit interaction is small. The observability of the spin wave mode in a neutron scattering experiment is discussed.
