In this paper, we present a deformable model for motion estimation which mainly aims to analyses of respiratory motion of human lungs. Difficulties on estimating motion from medical MR image sequence arise from their low temporal resolution, existence of their artifacts, and nonrigid deformation of biologic organisms. Deformable models can cope with these problems by compromising beween fidelity to brightness information and a priori knowledge of its user. In addition, by interframe energy of model, matching between frames is represent in a natural way. Using deformable model in the shape of 2D mesh and interframe external energy using multiple features as a vector, we aim at accurate motion estimation. It is shown that vectorization of features leads to better performance for motion estimation by experiments using test image sequence.
