Sadayakko built the Narita-san Teisho-ji Temple in 1933, a memorial for herself and loved ones. There are eight wooden reliefs with tituli affixed to the exterior wall of the apse, illustrating how the miracles of the buddhist divinity, Acala (Fudou-Myou-ou) had elevated Sadayakko from disaster. These reliefs seem to be inspired by the typological vitae of the saints adorning so often the portals, as well as the stained glass of the church chor in Western Europe, where Sadayakko was on tour. Sadayakko's life as Momosuke's mistress and manageress of the famous "Futaba-goten", their residence, began in Nagoya as she retired from her activities as an actress; and ends with his final and fatal illness as Sadayakko leaves Nagoya for good.
