Observation of liquid-solid fluidized bed was made for the purpose of presuming the behavior of the mass of mutually hindering particles in liquid, as in the case of hindered settling and upward flow transportation of particles. From the observed data, experimantal relation (3) and the values of the coefficient of scatter D in equation (5) which the auther had proposed in this paper, were obtained. Some examples of application of these results are also given.
