Following on the improvement in the speed of a rotary machine, making natural frequency of an axis-of-rotation system higher than the revolving speed region of the machine is difficult in many respects. In the analysis of such a complicated vibration system, the grasp of only an oscillation characteristic of an rotation machine is unsuitable. In such a case, it is important to analyze the characteristics vibration analysis which made the whole equipment the coupled-vibration system. This report examines the validity of modeling of a coupled-vibration system using the general structural analysis program ANSYS for a model machine. The result on a hammering test was compared with the analysis result. Thereby, the dynamic vibration characteristics of a high speed rotating machine system was able to be predict.
