概要

• This is a study of Basho's renku which is the essential of his literature. In this study I have investigated "Jisetsusazo" and other twelve renku, correcting some old errors as to the time when they were written, and confirming whether they were really Basho's works or not. And I have presented some new opinions as to the time when he began to use the penname "Tosei" and the intercourse between Basho and his disciples, namely Rotsu, Kyokusui and so on.
