Theoretical models for supernovae and associated nucleosynthesis are reviewed. Emphasis are placed upon 1) detailed comparison between observed and theoretical spectra of Type Ia supernovae based on the exploding white dwarf model (carbon deflagration model) and 2) new presupernova evolutionary models of massive stars where the iron core is significantly smaller than in the previous models.Stellar evolutionsupernovaenucleosynthesis
