The pure lead sulfate was preciprtated by the reactions of lead ion and various kinds of precipitants ((NH_4)_2SO_4, NH_4HSO_4, Na_2SO_4, K_2SO_4, MgSO_4, CdSO_4, CaSO_4,H_2SO_4) in aqueous solution at 100℃. These experimental methods were the same means to our previous papers. The concentration of precipitants (expect CaSO_4) was equimolar against the lead ion, respectively. The amounts of lead sulfate precipitate deposited and lead ion in aqueous solution were also determined by the several methods reported by the previous papers. The deposited percentage values of lead sulfate precipitate obtained by the afore experiments represented the high yields (almost over 96%) through all the various reaction periods. In the case of sulfamic acid as precipitant, they became very large with increase of the reaction times and the concentrations. Therefore, these values obtained by equimolar reaction were smaller than the former values, but simliar values to the case of the former were obtained by double molar reaction and at the iong reftction times. The growth process of particles of the lead sulfate precipitate obtained by the various kinds of precipitants were observed by using of an optical microscope and photographs. The results obtained by the microscope showed in micrographs. The size of both particles of lead sulfate precipitate obtained by both this experiment and KCP reaction experiment became very large with increase in the reaction times. The shapes of the former particles were observed very similar to the X-shaped particles obtained by sulfuric acid. On the other hand, almost all shapes of the latter particles were observed as clear crystals of hexagonai board-type. The size of these particles was larger than of the other previous data already reported.
