Abstract Calcination of Magnesium Aluminum Hydrotalcite-like compounds[Mg1-x Alx(OH)2]x+[(CO3)x/22-・mH2O]x-(x=0.1 to 0.7) gave host compounds, Mg1-xAlxO1+x/2, whidh could be intercalated by CO32- again. Side reactions were occurred in the case that Ix-0.3I is large indicating that the optimal value of x is near 0.3. We confirmed the possibility of repetation processes of adsorption-desorption of CO2 in the case that the calcination temperature was as low as 380℃.
