(1) The paper electrophoresis was applied to pyridoxine phosphate which was prepared by phosphorylation of pyridoxine with phosphorous oxychloride and with a mixture of 85% phosphoric acid and phosphorous pentaoxide and by de-amination of pyridoxamine phosphate. (2) All piridoxine phosphates appeared as two spots on a place between pyridoxal-phosphate and pyridoxamine-phosphate on the anode side and this fact indicated that the pyridoxine-phosphate was a mixture of pyridoxine-4-phosphote and pyridoxine-5-phosphate. (3) Pyridoxine-4-phosphate was converted to pyridoxine-5-phosphate by acid hydrolysis, by heating in water and by standing for a long period of time in solution.
