In this study, it will be seeked to discover the "comfortable" streetscape through analyzing traditional streetscapes, which have been refined over the centuries, and new streetscapes, which take into consideration the character of a particular area. These will be compared from two perspectives: the town as a whole and the street as the living environment of the individual. With our analysis of the town as a whole, it will be considered the diverse kinds of land use, street layout, and materials used in constructing these streetscapes and investigate how natural and historical elements are reflected in their construction. For our analysis of the street as the living environment of the individual, it will be considered the diverse ways in which buildings have been blended with the environment.
