Magnetization and Magneto-resistance in an MoO_2/CrO_2 Mixed System

Mixtures of metallic Pauli paramagnetic MoO_2 and half-metallic ferromagnet CrO_2 were prepared by planetary ball milling. The magnetization M, resistivity ρ, and magneto-resistance ratio MRR were measured for (MoO_2)_x(CrO_2)_<1-x> from x=0 to 1. M and [numerical formula] rapidly decreased with increasing MoO_2 content. Rpm-dependence of the coercive force H_c was observed in the x=0.05 sample.
