There are many ways to improve heat transfer on a flow in a tube. Most ways are not cheap and not easy at use. A fin tube is a familiar way. But it is expensive and should be taken carefully. A way to insert screw bar into a tube is simple an cheap, becouse it can be made of a flat bar very easily and at use, we only insert it into a tube. We can expect that it is going to be very good system to develop heat trasfer. We studied heat transfer of a flow in the tube with the screw bar experimentally. As results, we obtain followings 1) Best twist numbers of the screw a meter are 3〜4. 2) Heat transfer coefficient of a flow in the tube with the best twist numbers of the screw is about 9 times as much as that of the flow without the screw.
