This paper discusses how the use of a mailing list in English class affects the development of accuracy in writing, compared to the case of one-on-one e-mail correspondence. Through eleven weeks of theme discussion using a mailing list, the participants were found to write more accurately in mailing discussion than in one-on-one e-mail correspondence.
