• A new synthesis of α-aminodicarboxylic acids has been found. Derivatives of aceto-acetic ester, having an organic radical at α-position, hydrolysis of which giving a carboxylic group, were halogenated, ammonolysised, and hydrolysed to the last products By the method, aspartic and glutamic acids were synthesised.
