Quantitative emission spectrum analysis of boron in a solution, whose concentration is 0.015% to 0.15%, is made by using a new type liquid electrode. Boron content in a solution acidified with hydrochloric acid is determined from the 〓S of the line pair of B 2497.7A/Zn 2502.0A using zinc as an internal standard with the accuracy within ±4.36%. Boron analyses of a tourmaline and some hot-spring waters were carried out by this method. In succession of the last report, the quantitative analysis of boron was performed by the solution method and the electrode for solutions was improved partly in this experiments.
