This comprehensive study aims at extracting a model of cooperated Health Care among local government, local people and voluntary associations in the isolated islands. A village named Nisiamuro (79 households and 119 population in 2001) as a case was chosen among the Amami Islands. From 26th of August to the 1st of September 2001, the questionnaires survey was operated to 51 households, with which included 69 elderly persons. 42 households with 57 villagers answered. The data were analyzed focusing on the condition of health, the condition of going out and the feeling of satisfaction of the life. The findings were as follows: 1. The elderly were healthy and had the purpose of going out the in The Nisiamuro Village. The purpose of their going out was 'They care of the field and the garden', 'walking', 'gateball', 'fishing'. Almost elderly went out every day. 2. The purpose of going out of the elderly was influenced by differences between the sexes, an age and the condition of health in the Nisiamuro Village. 3.
