We present an experimental result of a circular-scanning ultrasonic diffraction tomography, where the transducer always faces towards art object and moves around it. Restricting the object in the far field of the incident cylindrical wave, we have derived a reconstruction formula composed of a Fourier series of Hankel transforms without any higher order Hankel functions than the Oth order function. Our simple experimental study for a small acrylic pipe in water shows a promising quality of tomographic images.
