Males, females and larvae of Goerodes kojimai (TANI), n. comb. and G. kanbaranus (KOBAYASHI), n. comb. are described. The females and larvae are firstly described. Their larval cases and habitat are reported. Paradinarthrodes TANI is synonymized with Goerodes ULMER. The male of G. corniger ULMER is redescribed. G. orientalis (TSUDA), G. hiurai (TANI) and G. tsudai (TANI) are recorded from some localities of Japan. It is ascertained that the records of two European species, Lepidostoma hirtum FABRICIUS and Lasiocephala basalis KOLENATI, from Japan are based on misidentification.
