The male, female, larva and larval case of Goerodes kunigamiensis n. sp. are described from the Okinawa-jima Island, the Ryukyu Islands, southernmost part of Japan. Adults of G. amamiensis Ito are additionally described from the Amami-ohshima Island, the Ryukyu Islands. Lepidostomatid caddisfly fauna of the Ryukyu Islands and the habitat and case-making habits of larvae were revised. Definition of the 3 species groups of the genus Goerodes was modified to the original designation.
