Discovery of the Genus Menothrips (Thysanoptera, Phlaeothripidae) from Borneo, with Description of a New Species

A new species of the genus Menothrips is described and illustrated from Borneo. The genus has been known only from the New World tropics based on a single species, ebriosus HOOD, and this is the first record from the Old World. The new species was found on dead wood lying on the ground and may be the fungus-feeder.
