The Oriental genus Ablemothrips Ananthakrishnan, 1969, is revised. Three species are recognised in the genus, and two of them from Thailand are newly described and illustrated : A. breviceps sp. nov. and A. longiceps sp. nov. A key is provided to the three species, and sexual dimorphism in the position of the postocular head setae is discussed.
