A new configuration, parallel operation of a number of rf SQUID elements provides enhanced sensitivity. This parallel operated elements has been fabricated by Nb thin film on single substrate, and drived by a single tank circuit. The variations of step pattern, interference pattern and flux sensitivity by increasing the number of elements have been measured. By performing parallel operation of four rf SQUID elements, the amplitude of interference pattern is increased two times as large as for single element case, and this agree well with theoretical analysis. Consequently, flux sensitivity is also enhanced similarly.
