Preparation of Superconductive (Bi, Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Thick Films by Rapid Quenching

High-T_c superconductive thick films in the (Bi, Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system were prepared by rapid quenching. The asquenched film was amorphouslike and after annealing at 840℃, it showed superconductivity. The high-T_c phase of the film increased with the increase of the annealing time. The thick films annealed at 840℃ for 300 h showed superconductivity with T_<c(zero)> = 104 K and J_c = 200 A/cm^2 at 77 K.
