High T_c Superconductivity Based on the Square Planar [CuO_4]_∞-Bonding System K_2NiF_4-Type (A, A^*)_2CuO_4 and Oxygen-Deficient Perovskite (Ba_2A)Cu_3O_7

Based upon the experimental evidences and inferences, the almost filled σ-electron band embedded in the extended two-dimensional or one-dimensional square planar [CuO_4]_∞-bonding system is identified to be the unique high T_c super-conductivity possible band, because it is a pseudo-inner orbital, muffled and isolated from the outer phonon systems by the other filled, localized orbitals. A high Debye temperature θ_D=770-800K is evaluated for the [CuO_4]_∞-bonding system. An ideal structural model for (Ba_2Y)Cu_3O_7, which explains the orthorhombic constants and the high pressure behavors of T_c of this material is proposed.
