ZnSe-Zn_<0.78>Cd_<0.22>Se Multi-Superlattice Structure for Effective Optical Pumping and Multicolor Emission

A ZnSe-Zn_<0.78>Cd_<0.22>Se multi-superlattice consisting of superlattices with differing well widths (2, 3.8, and 8.2 nm) was investigated. It was found that this structure is highly suitable for effective optical pumping which might provide new opportunities in multicolor emission and band structure engineering. The features of the multi-superlattice were compared with that of a ZnSe-ZnCdSe single superlattice.
