For La-Mu-codoped BaTiO_3, the relationship of La and Mn which results in the minimum room-temperature resistivity is [La^<+3>] -5/3[Mn^<+x>]〜0.275 mol% . The c/a ratio of crystal structure decreases with increased Mn content. The number of Mn^<+2> ions which diffuse in the grain, existing as Mn_<Ti>^", increases with increased Mn content and reduces the electron generation velocity. Moreover, when Mn content increases, the negative temperature coefficient effect of a BaTiO_3 positive temperature coefficient resistance below T_c will be reduced.
