A procedure of model calculation of the morphological parameters (volume, average electron density, radius of gyration of outer shape, first and second moments of electron density distribution, and square average of the electron density distribution) is described for several symmetric and asymmetric models proposed for the membrane protein-detergent complex. The parameters calculated with the procedure can be compared with the observed ones. The coincidence of the two values is necessary to determine the model parameters in addition to the best fitting of intensity curves.
