Oxygen Exchange between Adsorbed CO_2 and Perovskite-Type LaMnO_<3-δ> Surfaces

Using temperature-programmed desorption gas analysis, thermal desorption of C^<16>O_2 with a small amount of C^<16>O^<18>O is observed at about 730 K after C^<18>O_2 gas adsorption on LaMnO_<3-δ>(δ=0.17) powders. This indicates that double oxygen exchange occurs between C^<18>O_2 gas and ^<16>O atoms on LaMnO_<3-δ> surfaces.
