The usual method of measuring the resistivity of liquids utilizes the Kohlaush-bridge. When using this method, however, ionic phenomena in liquids must be taken into consideration; the electrodes need to be cleaned from time to time on account of Jon precipitation, for example. A new technique utilizing the eddy current method has been developed for the measurement of the resistivity of liquids, which eliminates the problem ionic phenomena. With this technique we have measured the resistivity of a NaCl solution at the beginning of the attenuation curve, which hitherto has not been made due to the difficulty of the measurement.
