Dielectric constant and loss are measured at 4.0 GHz for dilut solutions of two substituted ethanes (viz. 1.1-Dichloro-1-Nitroethane and 1, 1, 2, 2-Tetrabromoethane) over a wide range of viscosity using benzene+nujol as a solvent and at the temperatures of 35, 45, 55 and 65℃. The viscoelastic relaxation time is determined from the measured values of the dielectric relaxation time and thereby the viscoelastic parameters such as G_∞, G', G", R_L, X_L, J' and J" are evaluated.
