In axially-symmetrical Osaka tubes, electrons make harmonic motion peculiar to the Osaka Tube in the axial direction, and they take epi-cycloidal path on the radial plane. The relation between the axial motion and the circumferential revolution is presented clearly by introducing a cubic figure of magnetic field δ. Even and odd values of δ show that an electron takes the same path in every one and two circumferential revolutions, respectively. The path on the plane containing the axis is characterized by a planar figure of magnetic field γ. Integer values of γ show that it takes the same path on that plane. The experimental results show that the peak outputs of the detection or oscillation are obtained at the magnetic fields corresponding to integer values of δ, and even values of γ are also effective in oscillation.
