Three cytokinin-active ureas, N-phenyl-N'-(2-hydroxy-4-pyridyl)urea, N-2-methylphenyl-N'-(2-hydroxy-4-pyridyl)urea and N-phenyl-N'-(6-hydroxy-4-pyridazinyl)urea, were found to have growth-stimulating activity in the rice seedling test. Their structure-activity relationships are discussed.
