概要

• A typical representation of Viennese classic music can be found in symphony. Joseph Haydn's Symphony No.97 C-major is taken as its example. The essence of classic music can not be observed in such external forms as symmetry, contrast and so on, but exists in its festive nature, which also has close relations with the dramatic elements of Mozart's operas. Viennese classic music is characterized by a tone-event, or a happening. It is music as drama, as feast.
