The optical purity of WB1,(-)-4', 4'", 7,7"-tetra-O-methylcupressuflavone (1) was estimated from proton nuclear magnetic resonance (^1H-NMR) studies of its dimethyl ether (2) by using a chiral NMR-shift reagent and found to be satisfactory.
