With object base video coding, a visual scene is presented composing multiple video objects. In real time transmission of such a visual scene over erroneous network like the Internet, quick error recovery is indispensable because the receiver must keep synchronization between objects. In this paper we propose a new error resilience method to overcome such a problem. In the proposed method, the transmitter sets particular frames as the keyframe, and changes the reference picture based on them, from the indications from clients. From computer simulation, it is proved the proposed method achieves high error resilience keeping high coding efficiency.
