We report pressure sensor based on a single mode side-polished fiber and polymer planar waveguide. It is found that the resonance wavelength shift occurs due to refractive index variation of polymers by pressure and its sensitivity depends on waveguiding polymers. The symmetric structure of planar waveguide was adopted in order to remove the polarization dependence which is inevitable with the side polished fiber. THB-30 and AZ1512 are used as planar waveguide polymers and the resonance wavelength shifts by applied pressure were shown 0.16nm/bar, 0.033nm/bar respectively.
