The expression analyses of RCAS-1 in uterine cervical glandular neoplasm

RCAS-1 was a tumor-rerated gene of gynecological neoplasm, such as cervical glandular tumors and ovarian tumors. We aimed to detected low defferentiated cervical glandular neoplasrn similar to normal cervical gland using the deference of expression pattern of RCAS-1 on cytological materials. At first we confirmed the expression pattern of RCAS-1 on histlogical materials of cervical neoplasm. RCAS-1 was expressed strongly and monotonuos on cervical glandular neoplasm but recognized weak expression on normal cervical gland at immunohistochemistry. This result was the same in the same analyses on cytological materials. The next step, we researched mRNA expression of RCAS-1 on both histological and cytological material by the method of CARD in situ hybridazation. The expression of mRNA of RCAS-1 was detected on cervical adenocarcinoma (histological material). But normal cervical gland showed the same result. On cytological materials normal cervical gland was little expressed mRNA of RCAS-1 . But teclmical condition of CARD in situ on cytological material wasn't suitable for appropriate procedure. So we must improve this technical condition and detcted correct expression pattern of RCAS-1 endocervical tissues by the another method such as molecular method.
