We used biofeedback therapy (BR) in treating a case of hyperhidrosis. The case, 35 old years female, suffered from excessive and troublesome sweating in daily life. After BFT, palmar sweat response was gradually suppressed, electromyographic (EMG) was reduced and stabilized at the low level, skin temperature was gradually risen, and she seemed to be aware that relaxation was effective for suppressing palmar sweat response. From these results, BFT might be effective in treating patients with hyperhidrosis.
